Bee Hoon

I have been eating alot of bee hoon lately. It all started .. after i found out.. how easy it was to cook beehoon.

I have soupy beehoon.. fried beehoon.. beehoon with tom yum paste. I am gonna try satay beehoon soon.. 😉

Bee hoon is also cheap here.. i can find them at the dollar store. For fried beehoon . .i follow the recipe provided by Julia from AromaCookery. I sure missed her blog though..!

Unfortunately, for me.. this town donch always have shallots in the supermarket. Like tonite.. i wanted to fry some beehoon.. but there were none to be found. Yup.. i donch think this town like their shallots too much.. hhahhahaha!

For those who donch know what beehoon is .. beehoon is actually rice vermicelli are thin noodles made from rice, sometimes also known as rice noodles or rice sticks. They are a part of several Asian cuisines, where they are often eaten as part of a soup dish, stir fry, or salad. Rice vermicelli are particularly prominent in the cuisines of China and Southeast Asia, many of which feature a notable Chinese culinary influence (as per Wikipedia).
