Yes.. ! for once.. PB finally got something he wants.. for a long time. An xbox 360 is currently sitting in our TV room .. and no.. i donch believe in getting any system for $1K for whatever reason, unless of course we strike lottery and become a millionaire. But as of now.. we only had a million hair.. we cannot afford to splurge like some folks do here in this town.
You must be thinking i’m incoherent..?? how would we get an xbox 360 if we didn’t pay premium dollars?? Well.. 2 weeks ago.. dude came in to sell us his dead xbox360 .. yes.. he knew it was dead.. and he was pretty honest about it.. but he needed cash.. and wanted to know if we would buy it for parts. And since he had 2 controllers that came with it.. PB thought .. why not.. pay him for the 2 controllers.. well at least that would sell. So yup.. we paid $40.00 for a dead xbox 360 and 2 controllers. Good deal..?? Nah.. not with a dead machine. But oh well.. dude needs money real bad.. so we tried to help.
A read up on the dead xbox360, PB found that it was actually a defective that Microsoft actually detected and will warranty it, if it was within the warranty period. A quick call to Microsoft, a quick check on its registration, it looks like they will warranty it still. So yup.. sent it back to Microsoft and 2 weeks later.. it came back.. refurbished… and working..! woohoo..!! A quick call to the dude who sold the “dead” xbox360 to us.. just to be fair to him, all he needed to do is to pay us back the $40 and he can have his machine back. But dude’s number was disconnected.. and he isn’t a customer on our POS System.. so there wasn’t much we can do.. but to reward PB with a Xbox 360. See i told you .. owners have their perks..! muahhahahaha!!!
