Survival Guide For Parents

When i first had my lil’ brat, you cannot imagined how overwhelming it was for me. Being a first time mother.. and at 39 .. it certainly was nerve racking, plus being in a foreign country didn’t make it any better. There were far too many questions that i needed to ask and wanted like-minded couples/mummies to share with me, unfortunately being in a country that I don’t really have lots of friends made it even harder than it was already for me.

There are stuff that I wanted to know .. without having to sit in front of the computer.. going through pages and pages of advertisement trying to choose from baby product to maternity clothings and bras and just about anything. Because my spouse is also a first time dad, it is really hard to expect him to know alot too.

Parents from San Francisco are truly lucky for they can join lilaguide.com and get connected to San Francisco parents, and get the information and the resources that they need, because information included in the lilaguide website and books is written by parents for parents. Hearing the reassurance of another parent who had gone thru’ what you are going thru’ just makes it all seems not so bad.. and hopeful. You can also submit your own experiences and share what you already know to comfort another parent/s. It is a community all new parents and any parents can appreciate.
