Chinese Soup
We can’t get lotus roots here in Yarmouth. But when I do.. i try my best to get some. Since the lotus roots donch last a long time, i can’t buy alot of it. I donch have dried oysters.. or dried scallops.. so i do what i do best.. and use what i can find. Lotus Root soup with red dates and wolfberries.. and stewing pork. Slow cook for 4 hrs.. and drink. For those who can get all the ingredients.. back home.. everytime you drink some soup.. count your blessings.. because i get to drink it maybe once every 6 months.
Sling Bag From The Children Place
We donch have The Children Place here in Yarmouth.. but when we were up in the city.. they had one at the Halifax Shopping Center. We bought a few things for the brat.. and she wanted this sling bag so much.. so we made .. Grampie pay for it. .muahhhhhahah!! We very the bad hor..?? Well.. it’s not like we are hard up for money.. just that it’s nice.. for the brat to brag that her grampie bought this for her to friends and customers.. in the future.

Swiss Chalet Anyone..??
We try to hit Swiss Chalet at least once.. when we are up .. in Halifax. PB is big on Swiss Chalet.. and since he is so good.. and all driving me up there.. and letting me eat whatever i want.. i’ve gotta be nice too right..?? and let him eat something he likes. There there.. you see it folk.. a quarter chicken is what he always order.. and same here. Swiss Chalet is cheap.. but it’s not as good as they had it many years ago.. anymore… mixed vegies.. just some cauliflowers.. and broccoli that he hates.

Those who said.. that you can sleep like a baby.. donch know what they are talking about..!! when the brat was a baby.. !! she wakes up every few hours.. and till today.. she doesn’t sleep the whole nite. So what do mummies like me do..??
Let me share my secret with you and survive..! Very important..!! no matter what seems the most important.. sleep when baby is napping. Eat a healthy snack before going to bed… because you don’t want to wake up in the middle of the nite hungry.. and gorge yourself sick. And most importantly, as soon as you are feeling tired.. donch fight it.. and go to bed. Like it or not.. it’s healthier for you and baby.. and the man. No snapping at him.. nor feeling sorry for yourself. Housework.. and all the rest.. can be done another day.
Messing Up My Plan
The Papa insist on bringing the brat to the birthday party.. even though .. i had instructed him to go over .. and give the birthday boy his present on his own. We were already running late. .and Christmas shopping needs to be on its way. But nevermind, since he came home.. from work.. just to get the brat.. they went.. while i try to shower.. and eat before going.
Obviously, they were late.. they came home only at 4.30pm. And since i haven’t eaten.. i decided to eat first.. and by then.. it was late.. so there goes our shopping plan. Good Papa..!!! But chloe had fun.. and that was good. Men..!!

We usually donch go for dessert when we do eat out, but since we were up in the city. .and the brat didn’t wanna eat alot, we decided to order the Swiss Alps Chocolate Layer Cake. A mountain of layered chocolate cake with genuine fudge icing, served with real whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. This was from Swiss Chalet.. .any Canadian city will have a Swiss Chalet.
