Health Relieve

I never used to have any problems health wise, well not until i had my lil’ brat .. and then the body just didn’t want to listen to me no more. When I was pregnant with my brat, i used to get panic attack but after she was born, it went away. But i also noticed that i get very easily stressed .. and need things to be done immediately, otherwise I would get all stressed up .. and feel like the whole world is on my shoulder.

I think it has alot to do with missing home, and of course missing the food.. and plus the cold weather but i am not one who likes to take medication, although some anxiety relief would be good. Maybe, i should try Kava, well known to the Hawaiians for its relieve in headaches, restore energy, promote urination, soothe unruly stomach to curing whooping cough in children. Easing symptoms of asthma and tuberculosis and since it is a herb… and not the root that is used, it is very safe to consume.

Congrats..!! To Aida

Congratulations to Aida from Footprints .. and Frank .. for a safe delivery to a baby boy..! We can’t wait to see pictures of your son. 🙂 I really wished i was nearer to help. I really felt so bad.. when i read about Frank having to go back to be with Avarayna in the hotel.. because she was fussy. I so wished i was nearer .. even though i wasn’t feeling that good.. i would have gone to either be with Aida.. or taken Avarayna home.. if they were around here. But thank God for a safe delivery.. and both Aida and Baby Benjamin is doing well. Can’t wait for the pictures to come.

I’m Not Funny..!

A customer was in today.. and was telling chloe over the counter.. that she was a funny lil’ gal.. in which the brat replied.. “No.. ! i’m not funny..!! I’m CUTE..!! Muahahhahaha!!! Can “pengshan” lah..! in which she continued to reply.. “I’m CUTE BRAT..!” .. muahahahaha!! She sent us all rolling in tears.. 😉 so amusing .. she is.. 🙂

Men & Their Toys

Unlike back home in Asia, cars are relatively cheaper here, everyone has a car here and everyone that i know .. love to work on their car.. whenever they are free. They upgrade so often.. that often times their girlfriend or their wives would threatened to destroy their cars/trucks .. if they spent any more on it. Just the other day.. my cousin’s wife was complaining about the tires, brakes and the Corvette suspension that her husband just bought to do work on his car this spring. Men and their toys..!

My Sanctuary

After having my lil’ brat, everyone said.. it will only get better . .once she is more independent but any mummy would know it isn’t true. Children can be very demanding .. and i don’t know how some can have more then 1 child, it must be tough. My sanctuary is my bathroom, everytime I am able to stay in the shower for a good 20mins.. i feel really good.. away from everything. .just my own time. Therefore, when anyone who visits my home, thinks i spend alot on bathroom vanities, well. .now you know why.

Grateful

This year .. Chloe and I have been really blessed by all our blogging friends.. from Malaysia.. and Singapore and the States. We have received as many as 10 – 15 packages of birthday gifts.. and Christmas gift .. of toys.. and food .. and accessories. These blogging mummies are so kind.. i really donch know how to repay them for their kindness. Some paid for express post, some courier them over.. at premium prices.. and some registered post… meaning they had taken time .. to think of me .. and made the effort to send them out to me.. spending money .. and lots of time. Even my own sister .. ain’t that great ..!!

I will post individual gifts soon.. but for now.. I wanna tell everyone how grateful and touched we are.. of your kindness.. and hope that we can reciprocate them.. 🙂 Thank you .. and thank you again..! Your kindness will not be forgotten.

We Are Moving

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up .. why I’ve been missing lately. Been really busy at the store.. and the usual stuff .. at home.. cleaning, cooking.. looking after the brat etc. And the big news is .. we’ve been looking out for somewhere else to move the business. Something just opened up.. and PB and I have been seriously thinking about it for a few months now. More on it later.. but so you all know.. I’m alright.. and not missing.. just alot of work and paperwork to finish for 2007 and of course lease to negotiate.. and renovating and all.

As Dirty As She Will Get

This is as dirty .. as she will get. The brat doesn’t like to get dirty or untidy at all. And doesn’t like to get her sleeves all scrunched up when she has a jacket over it. She is very proper .. my MIL thinks it has to do with me.. being obsessive and impulsive behavior .. although she didn’t say it in so much words.. muahahahah!!

In Cohort

I am guessing that everyone must be in cohort with each other.. because this year’s gift.. is all kitchen and cleaning toys for the brat. This toaster and coffee maker set is from our customer/friend .. Sherry. But of course this wasn’t the only gift .. that the brat got from Sherri, there were 3 boxes of gifts for her. Chloe practically grew up in the store.. and most of our customers are pretty close to the brat. The first day we opened for business… she was going around.. saying .. “Happy New Year” to just about anyone who walked in. That was so cute..! Yes.. she is a smart brat.
