Gonna Miss Rowling

J.K. Rowling will be in Toronto.. for a book signing and meeting her fans. Although i’m not a huge fan of Harry Porter and its kind.. i still would have love to meet this strong woman. Why..?? she inspires me..! I’m alot into hard work.. and no whining kinda woman. How Rowling raised to fame.. and riches.. is an amazing story.

I donch know about you .. but ppl who gets or tries to become famous and popular .. by bitching at ppl.. or making fun of ppl .. just ain’t my cup of tea. If you were 16 ..i can understand it.. but if you are almost 50 .. nope..! definitely not my kinda woman..! I despise ppl like that. But look at Rowling .. very low profile.. yet very famous..! that’s the kinda woman i respect.. and admire.

Bestest Blog

PB’s blog has been voted Best Blog of The Day ! That’s cool..!!

For those who don’t know.. we owned a Computer & Entertainment Store for the last 8 yrs and a bit. The Entertainment derives from the fact that we rent movies, trade, sell and buy console games and systems .. and pretty much everything.. from printer to its ink .. and anything that makes money.

Recently, we embarked in some new products .. but we are unable to announce it right now.. because we have bigger things planned for this product.

If you haven’t been to PB’s blog.. go right ahead and visit.. because i’ll tell you this.. even though he just started blogging.. he is alot better in writing.. and expressing himself.. than I am. On top of it.. if he is in a good mood.. you will catch some funny reading as well. Nope.. he does diss .. he doesn’t bitch and he definitely doesn’t pimp himself enough.. not like some blogger does.. at every darn sec they get.. to the point of irritation.

Primetime Emmys Excitement

The Emmys are on tonite.. and as much as i hate staying up to watch it till midnite.. i can’t help but get excited about both my favorite tv show. The Heroes and The Sopranos are tv series that i follow really closely .. but if you ask me to choose.. i really, really think i would choose The Sopranos.

Why..?? because I’ve been watching The Sopranos for a long time.. and The Heroes is kinda fictional – more like child’s play (I know.. fans of Heroes are gonna throw rotten tomatoes at me). And i really hope Sandra Oh wins ! Did I tel you .. i love her..! she reminds me of my childhood neighbor.. Wong Fong Jinan, unfortunately we lost contact for many years now.

So who are you rooting for..?? Tell me ya..!

CN Tower Demoted

The CN Tower got demoted yesterday, it is no longer the world’s second tallest free standing structure coz’ a building in Dubai now tallest in the world. If you donch know by now, the CN Tower is in Toronto and one of the main attractions to tourist and the people from all over Canada. The Burj Dubai is a few metres taller now but the CN Tower is still one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

There is the observation deck and the Sky Pod and at $27.55 for going up the CN Tower. Line ups were still its usual busy self yesterday. I’ve been to the CN Tower a few times, when i was in Toronto. And my very favorite is of course the Empire State Building. I’ve also been to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Hancock Tower in Boston and the Space Needle in Seattle, Munich Olympic Tower in Berlin and of course the Las Vegas Stratosphere.

Care to share with me, where you’ve been to..?? so i can have it added to my list of “must-see” before I die.

Electronic Check In Kiosk

Halifax’s IWK Health Center is said to be the first hospital implementing the first electronic kiosk for patient check in in the Atlantic Canada. IWK is by far one of the most efficient hospital that i’ve seen, since arriving in Canada. The service is prompt. .and the receptionist/nurse are very nice too. I never had to wait more than 15mins to see a doctor up in Halifax.. wherelse here in this small town.. it can take up to 7 hrs.. in the emergency unit. Ironic eh..?

I seriously wonder why they need the kiosk for..?? since they are already a lot of efficient bunch right..? Another case of taxpayer’s money.. spend it .. irregardless..!

Binge Eating

I binge eat too, even though I hate to admit it. But folks say that people eat to alot and loads of time, is because to numb their pain. I also noticed i eat many times.. when i am stressed or upset about something. But i donch eat large amounts of food frequently and in one sitting nor feel out of control when i eat and can’t stop eating. I eat opening but quickly and i eat sometimes to a point where i am uncomfy because i donch wanna waste food. I can’t finish a bowl of chinese noodles. And I donch feel guilty or ashamed of my binges.

I’m still wondering if i have a eating disorder.. because i love eating at nite.. when the brat is sleeping.. and watching my chinese movies. What do you think..??

There are advantages for being a blabbermouth blogger, I see you can be a star now.. in a real tv show. Looks like MySpace is producing it first network quality tv series to keep its users onside. Securing an exclusive internation distribution rights for Quarterlife, this new series is about a young woman Dylan who is a blogger and whose video diary divulges a few too many of her friends’ closet secrets, appealing to the today’s tech savvy woman.

Hey..wait a min..!! this plot sounds so much like CW Gossip Girls..??!!?? Can someone clarify..?? I premier in 7 languages on MySpace’s global site on November 11, and the storyline surrounds the lives of 6 people in their 20 something.

Maybe.. MySpace will make a tv show about BlabberMouth Asian Bloggers to cater to Asia eh..?? Now that would be really fun..!! and i bet it will sell..!!! Let me sell the idea to the CEO of Facebook and MySpace.

Farts Hurt Global Warming

Yup..!! animals fart is hurting Global Warming..! and we heard it on the local radio yesterday afternoon on the way to the store. So they say .. not to eat too much meat.. so that they donch have to raise more cows.. because cow farts are killing the ozone layer.

No kidding.. !! that’s what they say on the local radio..! So folks.. STOP EATING MEAT..!!

No.. i can’t please everyone, but neither do i have the guts to piss everyone off, I donch think I will be able to sleep, if i did what some does or even half. Did We Forget..??

It’s September 11, a day that everyone, in every country remember this day, a day that shook the world. A day of extreme sadness, if i remember correctly. 6 yrs ago today.. 24 Canadians were killed in the 2001 terrorist attacks, it was indeed a very sad day for the world. There is not much said or printed today .. in the news, are we all remaining vigilant in the fight against terrorism..??

Till today, it still evokes anger and sorrow in me. Even though i am not on American soil, I still take it personally, when I remember that fateful day. It was uncalled for and it only proves that we will not tolerate terrorism. Did you and your family observed a minute of silence, for those who died in the World Trade Center..?? We did.
