Asia

I sounded out my MIL about us thinking of going back to Asia…. since the economy .. and the workers we have are anal.. and i really do miss home too and the food of course..!! .
I know my in laws wouldn’t be too, too happy if we go back to Asia. For one thing.. i will be depriving them of their only grandchild .. and also their eldest son. I know my in-laws will miss both of them ALOT..!! and as much as i hate doing it……. we might just really have to go back to Asia for our sanity sake, for i cannot get over the fact.. that the EMPLOYEES are always right.. and protected by so many shitty laws here….. be it the Human Rights or Labour Codes. The employment laws are not FOR the employers.. that i can tell you. And I hate the fact.. that it seems that I’m always doing the fighting for the business. I feel very vulnerable here… ! I feel like my hands and legs are tied here.. with regards to our workers/customers.

BKT become BBQ

I bought some stewing pork on saturday from the supermarket…. and had intended to make Bak Kut Teh with mushrooms but i ended up BBQing it in my oven and had BBQ stewing pork instead..and it tasted really good.. 🙂 Next time i see cheap stewing pork.. i will buy that instead…. 😉
And that lead me another idea.. to get Lee Kum Kee’s Char Siew Sauce….. when someone is up in the city for my chinese food. Yay!! i’m a genious..!!

Daily Updates – 14 Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at 11.33pm last nite, and woke up at 6.30am for some milky.
  • Daddy put her back to sleep on the floor at 7.20am but she woke up at 8.10am, running into our room to wake me up.
  • Put her back to sleep again as it was early.. and she slept till about 9.20am.
  • Had breakfast of cereal and yogurt.
  • Then had a snack at 11.30am .. and some water.
  • Daddy brought her to the post office for some errands and back to the store, while mummy stayed home and shower in peace.
  • Had rice, chicken, tofu and baby corn for lunch but she accidentally tipped over the plate full of food, thus making mummy do more work.
  • Had some milky at 3pm and went down for a nap at 3.45pm with alot of fighting the nap.
  • Woke up at 4.30pm and fussed a little.
  • Daddy came home from work and fed her dinner and we all headed out to the store.
  • Played abit at the store.. and let our customer-stephanie carried her for the longest time.
  • Came home, played abit.. had supper and then bath and milky.
  • Slept at 11.15pm.. in the living room after fighting her sleep.

    Daily Updates – 13th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at 12.15am last nite, but refuses to stay in her crib, so she was on the floor the whole nite.
  • Woke up only at 9am.. and had some milky and went back to sleep for daddy for abit.
  • Had breakfast and all with daddy and played with her new tent. Poor daddy gotta sit inside the tent with her before she would go in.
  • After mummy woke up, she had a snack and got ready to go to grammie’s place.
  • Dropped in at the store for 5mins, and slept on the way up to Grammie’s place.
  • Had a great time at Grammie’s but refuses to have all her lunch of noodles.
  • Had some milky and headed home at about 4.30pm and slept on the way home.
  • Woke up upon reaching home.. and was cranky for abit.
  • Daddy fed her dinner.. and brat watched Simpsons in the living room with mummy for daddy needed to go back to the store.
  • Had her bath and milky and then cereal.
  • Slept at 11.33pm, although was fighting her sleep.

    Sick Babysitter

    Babysitter messaged me this morning that she woke up sick. So the brat and I will be doing stuff.. without the babysitter. Heh! What a bummer.. !! i wsa hoping that babysitter can play with the brat with her new tent.
    Oh well.. no problem.. grammie will be in tomorrow.. so grammie will be pushed into the tent.

    Daily Updates – 12 Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at 12.33am last nite, although she tried hard enough not to sleep again.
  • Woke up only at 7.57am.. and refuses to sleep again.
  • Cranked right up after she got up and was fussy till daddy got up at 9am.
  • Had 2 bottles of milk within an hour. Had cereal and yogurt.
  • Headed out to Macdonalds because mummy got nothing for breakfast. And played with some other kids that were there.
  • Pooped and headed back to the store because a worker was being a pain.
  • Had udon at the store.. but didn’t have much because she was running around alot.
  • Katelynn came early for mummy thought we had to work.
  • Had some milk and headed home for her nap at 3.15pm to.4.15pm. Woke up crying
  • Katelynn will babysit her while mummy & daddy go back to the store.
  • Babysitter said that the brat was crying for simpsons..so she gave in. What a naughty baby..!
  • Had half a cake and water when she woke up.
  • Babysitter fed her with babyfood at about 5.30pm, since she didn’t have much lunch at the store. Too busy playing.
  • Daddy bought her a tunnel tent today, but not opened yet.
  • Had cereal with daddy and then mummy bathed her and had some milky… but wanted abit more before she was willing to settle down and sleep.
  • Slept at 12.15am.. but refuses to stay in her crib.

    Better Day

    I had a better day today. We went to visit my in-laws.
    Not a long visit .. but it was good.. 🙂 The brat just loves it.. and insisted on going outdoors.. and chasing cats. We got to see Aunt Helena too.. so that was great.. 🙂
    But when we came home.. i was unusually tired.. and had to rush to vacuum the floors.. because the brat plays both in the living room and the computer room ALOT.
    Daddy helped to do laundry and folded them.
    All in all it was a good day.. I didn’t have to deal with any crack heads… *shrug*

    Funky Sunglasses

    She put on the sunglasses for me… because i told her i was taking a photo of her.. and posting them on the blog. Hahhahaha!! so cute.. and so smart eh..?? but still donch wanna talk properly.

    Antenna Brat
