Daily Updates – 30th Nov 2005

  • The brat fought her sleep till 1am last nite and refuses to go to her crib. Therefore, she was on the computer room’s floor.
  • Woke up at 7.43am for some milky and peepee change and fussed alot before going back to sleep at 8.49am. Wanted mummy to rub her back but gotta rub it a certain way, or she would be all cranky.
  • Got up at 10.10am and daddy woke up with her while mummy continued sleeping till noon.
  • Had a snack after mummy got up and then headed to the store.
  • Had lunch of noodles at the store, mummy had to go to Jakes to warm up her food once.
  • Had milky and peepee change at the store and then headed home for her nap at 4.40pm.
  • Woke up at 5.30pm and had a snack and daddy went back to work and didn’t come home till 9.40pm.
  • Had her dinner with no fuss and some water.
  • Let mummy do some housework.. and she climbed onto the bed on her own, while mummy was folding the laundry.
  • Bathed and had some milky and some cheerios and had some crackers for the first time.
  • Wanted alot of water before going to bed at 12.48am. And refuses to sleep in the crib again.

    Daily Updates – 29th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at midnite but woke up at 3.23am.
  • Had some milky and a changed of pee pee and went back to sleep with minimal fuss.
  • Stirred a few times till about 6am and woke up at 9.05am with daddy.
  • Had her milky and went back to sleep for her daddy till about 10.20am.
  • Had breakfast with daddy and waited for mummy to wake up at noon.
  • Went by the mall to get movies for the store with daddy and headed back to the store.
  • So cranky and didn’t even wanna play with Sarah, had a snack at the store and fussy when we were about the leave for home.
  • Daddy fed her lunch while mummy showered.
  • Grammie came to babysit and as soon as she saw grammie, she started fussing because she knew that mummy and daddy were gonna leave again.
  • Finally went to grammie when she wanted some chocolate from Grammie.
  • Had a 1.5hrs nap for grammie and snack when she woke up.
  • Had dinner when mummy came home and Daddy went back to work after sending grammie to bingo.
  • Fussed alot ..and of course didn’t let mummy do much housework.
  • Had cereal before her bath and then some milky when Daddy came home.
  • Fought her sleep all the way till 1am and refuses to go into the crib, so she slept on the floor in the study.

    Daily Updates – 28th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at midnite but woke up at 3am.
  • Had some milky and a changed of pee pee and clothes because she was wet. Daddy was up with her hoping that she would go to bed right away. She did but woke up again at 5am.
  • Finally went back to bed at 6.59am.
  • Got up at 9.26am with mummy and had some milky and refuses to sleep again.
  • Had some cheerios while watching Simpsons and daddy got up at 10.44am and took over with the feeding.
  • Grand-Aunt Yvette came for a short visit for the crib.
  • Babysitter came to babysit at noon, so that mummy and daddy can clean up the old store.
  • She was pretty good for the babysitter who fed her lunch and dinner..and managed to make her nap for an hour.
  • When mummy came home at 6.30pm, she seems happy enough.
  • Very needy.. and had a snack so that mummy can have dinner.
  • Had her cereal later.. and waited for daddy to get home to bath because there wasn’t any towel nor night pants left for the brat and they were in the basement.
  • Had her milky and fought her sleep as usual.. and went to bed at midnite again.
  • Woke up at 3.23am, had some milky and peepee changed..and went back to sleep with minimal fuss tonite.

    Daily Updates – 27th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at midnite but woke up at 4.04am.
  • Had some milky and a changed of pee pee and fussed the whole time till i had to bring her out to the living room, so she doesn’t wake up her daddy.
  • Finally transferred her back to the computer room at 7am because it is warmer there than the living room.
  • Woke up at 9.20am with daddy. I donch know how she does it… she gets so little sleep.
  • Had cereal and yogurt with daddy and played till 1pm till mummy got up from bed.
  • Had lunch with daddy while mummy get ready for Tara’s baby shower.
  • Napped in the car on the way to Deerfield.
  • Was shy at first when we arrived at Deerfield and clinged onto mummy for her dear life.
  • But soon warmed up.. and played with the cat and grammie and her cousins.
  • Went to grammie’s house after the baby shower but refuses to eat at Grammie’s.
  • Slept on the way home and had noodles when she got home.
  • Had a bath, milky and some cereal and slept at midnite again.

    Daily Updates – 27th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at 1am last nite.
  • Woke up at 9.20am with daddy, gave her some milky and she went back to sleep till about 10.30am.
  • Had breakfast with daddy and waited for mummy to get up at noon.
  • Babysitter came at 1pm and took care of the brat.
  • Babysitter fed her noodles for lunch but not very successful, she didn’t wanna finish it.
  • Had milky straight after her lunch and babysitter tried to put her down for a nap.
  • Took her a long time to nap.. and only napped from 4pm to 4.38pm. Babysitter had to carry her before she will fall asleep.
  • Had dinner with babysitter and puked big time. Babysitter called us and we had to rush home.
  • Had some cookies, when we finished cleaning her up and all.
  • And had some of mummy’s noodles. A few mouthfuls.
  • Had cereal and daddy bathed and washed her hair and gave her milky.
  • As usual fought her sleep all the way till midnite.

    7am

    7am here .. and i’m still up.. from waking up with the brat at 4.04am..coz’ she kept waking up.. and finally now too tired.. 🙁
    The price of parenthood..?? ultimate patience.. ????
    Ok… i’m off to bed now.. 🙂
    Daddy’s turn next.. hahahahha!!!

    Daily Updates – 25th Nov 2005

  • The brat slept at midnite last nite and woke up at 4.12am.
  • Had some milky, peepee changed and went back to sleep at about 5am.
  • Got up with daddy at 11.20am. Unbelieveable…!! Slept so late.
  • Daddy fed her breakfast and all.
  • Had lunch with daddy as mummy went back to bed to rest.
  • Went by the store for abit after lunch.
  • Had some milky at the store and pooped..and grammie and grampie came by the store to bring us a real christmas tree.
  • Went home for a nap at 4.40pm and woke up at 5.45pm.
  • Woke up with babysitter and didn’t want her snack, so she had dinner instead.
  • Had cereal with mummy and then a bath and milky and waited for daddy to come home.
  • Fought her sleep all the way till 1am.

    Pukey Baby

    At about 5.30pm we got a call from the babysitter telling us that our brat got very sick. So of course i panic lah..!! and rushed home… and then because tonite was the christmas parade.. the streets were packed.
    When we got home.. we found out that the brat puked when having her dinner. I guess she must have choked.. and the babysitter being young and all.. just cannot stomach the puke.. and didn’t wanna clean up after the brat. So she called us.
    The computer room was in a mess..and the brat’s clothes were on the floor…. the babysitter left her in her undershirt.. in the kitchen.. while she tried not to puke. But she didn’t even get dirty.. like not abit. So i realised .. that she didn’t even try to comfort the brat.. when she puke… but then.. she is only the babysitter.. and what does she know right..?? she is just another kid.
    Anyhow.. i am not comfortable..that my babysitter.. didn’t know what to do.. and would get sick.. when my brat puke. What if we can’t come home immediately..?? what if .. we were in the movies..??
    So i am gonna have a chat with her.. next week.. when she comes.

    23 Months

    My Dear Princess,
    You turned 23 months old a few days ago, how time flies. In another month you will be 2 yrs old.
    As i look at you this morning at 7.25am.. i still cannot believe that i produce such a beautiful baby. And wonder what did i do right.. ??? to have such a beautiful baby like you…??
    You bring so much joy in my life.. my dear. I don’t know what I did before I had you. Mummy love you so much.. and sometimes my love for you is so overwhelming…… that like now.. it brings tears of joy.. just thinking how bless I am …. to have you.. my princess.
