Do you remember Tubby..?? PB’s oldest friend in this town..?? Well.. actually i think it is Kenny.. but since Kenny is always half way around the world.. Tubby is currently his nearest oldest friend. Anyhow.. Tubby’s g/f just gave birth to a baby girl.. and she is about 6 months old. She looks exactly like her daddy.. donch you think (i feel bad for her.. muahahahahah – joking) .. but i know she would grow up and be as beautiful as her mummy.

For someone who thought he could never have a baby.. i guess he was wrong.. but for those out there.. who claimed that they cannot have a baby.. try coming to Yarmouth and live here. I tell yer.. the “water” here… does wonder .. muhahahahaha!!! the doctors back home said the same for me.

And guess what .. they called their daughter..?? long name man..!! i sure donch want that long name.. if i were a grown up.. hahhaha!! as simple as possible.. if you asked me (but of course .. .my opinion ain’t important coz’ i’m not the parents). Ingrid Odessa (another middle name) Hatfield or Cosman.. i think. Anyhow.. long name lah.. hahah!!! she is a pretty alert baby.. and she smiled a few times for us. But parenting ain’t easy.. as we all know.. and i do wish tubby happiness.. even though he can be a pain sometimes. But perhaps.. fatherhood will mellow him..??

Meeting With Chloe’s Teachers

I know you are all probably anxious to hear how the meeting went right..?? Well, here it is .. the feedbacks we received during the meeting with the school speech therapist, her form teacher and Resource, Reading Recovery teacher. Firstly, I have to tell you.. there were nothing they said .. that we did not already know about Chloe. Secondly, it is not that Chloe is slow .. that she is not doing certain things at this point of her life… moreso, because we didn’t teach her certain things. Thirdly, although we do agree with most of the things her teacher said to us today.. there are some stuff, we feel that they may be expecting too much from a kid who is barely 5 yrs old, youngest in her class, haven’t been to pre-school .. and have slacker parents like us.

There are always things that a child can do better and excel of course but to compare chloe with other kids not quite her age and in a different environment.. than i think it is not quite right. Take for example a kid who is 2 months older than chloe ..and has siblings like 4 or 5. Her parents are always at work, she is left at daycare most days. Firstly, this kid is gonna to be a lot more independent and quicker with eating .. and is probably taught about not having to do anything with strangers or anyone remotely not familiar. On the other hand, Chloe is sheltered .. always at work with us.. or have Keegan to look after .. and only child. Never have to fight for her food, tv or games… or anything else. So there is a difference! on the same note, the teacher should factor in all these into consideration .. with the example that i had given. I shall elaborate more on it .. in another post.

Anything Cheap Is Good

A lot of things changed after coming to Canada. Once upon a time, i would never thought i would use a used monitor or just about anything used.. but Canada changed me.. or rather PB did. In the business of used games, used systems .. and used cisco, now i am not so repulsive about using anything used or what we called back home “second hand”. Truth be told, if possible, we would do “used” everything in our business if we can. Reason..?? the profit is good.. and the cost is low.. and even if they don’t work well.. PB loves to mess around with them abit. So it’s works anyways.

The Four Episode 23 & Me Getting Fat

The Four Episode 23 was already up and ready to watch by this morning 10am my time.. so as soon as i found the link for it.. you can imagine.. what i did right..?? quickly lah get my breakfast.. and sat and watch it all.. and then followed by Off Pedder Episode 4 and then followed by another Episode of Desperate Housewives. You see lah.. can don’t grow fat or not..?? The Four Episode 24

The Four Episode 24 will be out tomorrow. A lot of people had asked me at my entertainment blog.. why the are seeing it posted as The Four Episode 23 but the movie itself said 24 .. that’s only because there is a vcd version of it.. and i get whichever one that is the fastest. So don’t fret like me .. and think that i needed more laptop memory because sometimes, i used the laptop to watch The Four TVB Series.

Gem Of Life Episode 6 on HD

Gem of Life Episode 6 will be watched on my HDTV .. because PB thinks that watching it on the computer can be quite hard on the eyes. So he want out to get some HDMI switch but seriously .. i think he is doing this.. because he is preparing to furnish his basement.. that he is starting to work on soon. But no matter lah.. can watch ok lor.

Family Tree

Chloe’s babysitter, Keegan (kate) is in Grade 12 right now and just the other day she asked her father about how she can go about one of her school projects that involved her family tree and family genealogy. I guess it must have been a very important project because I had seen her hounding her dad a few times when he came to visit while she was babysitting.

Now if we were in the United States there’s a public genealogy site that would definitely have helped Kate with her assignment because of the huge archives comprising of family records and documents online. You can check for your history by simply clicking on the state your family originated from, or search by name. A small but affordable fee is being charged, but if you want to start your family tree, whether it’s for personal reasons or for a school assignment, it’s worth it. 1st Parents & Teachers Meet

Already..?? i hear yer saying.. muahhaha!! yes.. ! already..!! it’s to meet Chloe’s other teachers and the school staff .. plus also to get an idea of what the teacher is doing in class. Certainly different from my time in school.. where teachers and parents meet is all about us being bad.. and our parents being called to the principal office.

My thoughts about the educational system in Canada as compared to Singapore..?? I really think here is a lot more relaxed and I can see Chloe’s teacher trying her very best to help with every single student. Unlike back home, I think I would have had to get a tuition teacher for Chloe right now. Her teacher had also mentioned that Chloe fine motor skills needed help and Chloe will be in a small group just for that. I knew this was gonna happened because Chloe being the youngest in class and we don’t really allowed her to play with cutting and scissors because in the store, I sometimes cannot keep an eye on her.. if she played in her play area. But I’m happy to report I’m quite pleased with what I saw but I’m still a wee bit apprehensive about the “french” thingie. But if i learned so many languages in Singapore, I’m quite sure she can cope with French no..??

Wanna Stuff A Dead Body In My Basement

The man brought home this a few nights ago from the store. He bought it from a kid that had come in like maybe.. half a dozen time trying to sell it. From $200 to $160 … that was what the kid wanted. But finally after a week, PB got it for $150.

Well, anyhow.. the nite he bought it back, he had it sitting on the dining table.. and guess what.. ?? i didn’t even noticed it. .nor see it. Until the next day, in the evening.. when he wanted to get it out to test it, then did he asked me .. ” you didn’t noticed this eh..?? ” So yes..! if you stuff a dead body in my basement.. i probably wouldn’t know about it till it stinks. As long as it doesn’t stinks.. the dead body is safe in my basement.. mauahhahaha!!
