As much as I empathized with this couple/customer.. i fail to see how they can blame their neighbor for stopping them while he was driving illegally and an alien in Canada. As much as I know that the emotional baggage .. that comes with one to be banished from the country.. and asked not to return till a year later.. with proper documentation, to rejoin his family here.. they should know that this is the law.. and they have to abide by it right..??
Yes.. he has children here .. with a Canadian woman.. but he has been here for 2.5 yrs now.. and without proper documentation and an extension of his stay.. and no work permit .. so he hasn’t worked for the last 2.5yrs.. while i bet his woman.. is on welfare.. or some sort of assistance.
Let i had mentioned in one of my post a month ago.. that my encounter with immigration has always been good.. “touch wood” and immigration canada rarely gives me any problems, in fact they are very accommodating. So for one to have cops with bullet proof vest.. coming into your house and trying to remove you . .from the country.. must sorta say something isn’t right .. ?? I donch know what the full story is all about .. but donch you think that if you were in a country without proper papers.. then you are just asking for trouble.. and on borrowed time..??
Yes.. i sympathized with the whole situation . . and all… but if you value the relationship and wanna stay in Canada.. donch you think you should look into the proper route..? instead of blaming the neighbor for doing his job..?? I for one.. am a wuss.. and i donch think i can live anywhere illegally. I wouldn’t wanna wait or be afraid of the day.. where i am removed or asked to leave immediately. What about you ..?? would you take the risk..?? would you put your partner.. or your child/children.. into a stressful situation..??
