Bootie Calls

The weather is getting colder.. and my kitchen floor is very cold.. but my brat refuses to put on her socks.. so i tried putting on her old booties.. from a year ago.. to see if she would wear them.. they still fit.. but a wee bit tight.. she wore it for abit.. and took it off… AGAIN..!
So today.. when Papa BoK went shopping.. he thought of buying some bigger booties.. but i told him not to.. because it inevitably.. ends up not being worn at all.
So the brat just gotta learn how to wear her socks at home.. this winter..! Mummy’s being tough..!!

Italian Ciabatta Bread

Inspired by the many food blogs that i read everyday… i am currently being more adventurous.. and trying different kinda bread at home. This week i bought this lovely .. and very fresh ciabatta bread… 🙂
Last week .. i had a raisin and walnut bread ( that i had forgotten to take pictures of). I am loving the ciabatta bread.. because i bought some bruschetta that was on sale.. and last nite.. i bought some sauerkraut ..to go with my roast beef.. so i’m all set for breakfast or a snack.. 😉

New Toy

New toy for the home… 🙂 the exercise bike certainly caught the attention of our brat.. for the first thing she wanted to do .. was to figure out the exercise bike this morning.

Making of Bike

Exercise bike in the makings. Papa Bok went to collect it today.. and decided that at 1.30am .. he wants to put them altogether..!

Bought my brat her first sticker album.. and she had a blast with it.. and even have stickers all over the walls now.. hahahhaha!!!

Daily Updates – 21 Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 11.30pm, not much fast again last nite.
  • Woke up at 5am for some milky .. and a change of diapers with daddy and went back to bed at 5.30am.
  • Got up at 9.25am and went into mummy’s room to wake her up.
  • Kinda fussy but not as bad as most days, had some milky and watched tv for abit.
  • Had cereal and yogurt and more water.
  • Played with daddy and mummy the whole morning and then had lunch with daddy.
  • Went by the store and had a ball with Sarah.
  • Daddy gave her some milky at the store and changed her peepee before bringing her home for a nap. But daddy had to let mummy go home first for brat would not sleep if i am in the car. She slept at 4pm
  • Woke up at 5.15pm and Katelynn played with her.
  • Had some cookies and juice.. and then stayed at home with babysitter while mummy go to the store.
  • Had dinner with babysitter .. and spent the evening with her playing. Babysitter got her to keep her socks on the whole evening.
  • Took a bath with daddy when daddy came home and had some milky.
  • Had cereal later and played with her stickers and sticker books till sleeping time.
  • Slept on the floor at 12.15am.

    Daily Updates – 20th Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 12.05am, not much fast last nite.
  • Woke up at 3.20am for some milky .. and a change of diapers..and also clothings.. because she was wet again. Bummer..!
  • Went back to sleep at 3.50am and woke up at 8.45am.
  • Had some milky.. and started to fuss.. and wanted to eat chips this morning. I put my foot down today. The brat tends to bully me.. especially when i am alone.
  • Had cereal and yogurt and more water. And watched some cartoons on tv.
  • Headed out to the store and played with Sarah for abit.. while daddy did some work.
  • Headed to the mall to get her diapers.. and grammie’s toilet paper.
  • Had lunch but could hardly keep awake and only half finished her lunch.
  • No car ride today and went to bed at 2pm to 3pm.
  • Fussy when she woke up and had some cookies and a drink.
  • Wanted to watch Simpsons and played abit with mummy and didn’t wanna let mummy do her housework.
  • Babysitter came and didn’t wanna let mummy leave. Poor baby.
  • Had an early dinner.. and went to the store for a few hours with babysitter.
  • Had some fries the store.. and played with daddy’s old friends, Paul & Marie from Montreal who came to visit.
  • Came home after 8pm and played with babysitter and watched simpsons.
  • Had her cereal with her babysitter. Bathed her and had some milky.
  • Went to bed at about 11.30pm without much fuss.

    Too cute..!

    At 22mths.. my brat is too cute..! why..??
    Today, she asked for the thermometer .. and tried to turn it on..by pressing the buttons on it.. and then looked for the babysitter’s ears .. to put the thermometer in.. hahahah!! when she couldn’t find the babysitter’s ears .. because she had long hair.. and was covered.. she put the thermometer into her own ears.. hahaha!!!
    I also asked her to say her chips with a customer.. and she took the chip out from the bag.. and insist that i eat it.. and not the customer.. hahahah!!!
    A little boy came into the store.. he was like 3.5yrs old.. and my brat was running around with him.. and playing with him.. and when it was time to go.. the little boy’s mother said to the boy.. do you wanna give kisses to the little girl.. and the little boy did.. and he tried.. to kiss my brat. in the mouth.. but my brat just moved backwards so quickly.. it was not even funny.. hahahahahaha!! she was so quick.. and swift.. and she knew.. she want no kisses from this little boy.. but she would give kisses .. to Papa BoK’s friend who came to visit from Montreal today. Hahhaha!! just too funny..!! the face she made.. when she didn’t want the kiss.
    We were making funny noises to distract her.. from being fussy.. when we were changing her peepee.. and she learnt the noises so quick.. you wouldn’t believe it.. and was doing it back to us.. hahahahah!!!
