Memoirs Of A Geisha 2

I finally finished watching the show.. and the first hour was not bad at all.. but then the second part was like so fast forward.. that the story kinda ended way too quickly for me.

Overall, it’s a can watch movie of course.. and the performance of both Gong Li and Zhang Zhi Yi was great..!! Zhang Zhi Yi reminds me of the younger Gong Li.

As for Michelle Yeoh, her performance was good as usual.. but she does look alot older too in this movie. But if i can look as good as she does.. i’ll be really happy.. 🙂 hehhehehehehe!!!

Daily Updates – 08th Jan 2005

  • Chloe finally slept at midnite last nite.
  • She didn’t wake up till almost 6.31am and had some milky and pee pee changed, went back to sleep at 7.16am.
  • Didn’t really sleep good.. till almost 8am and then woke up at 10.21am.
  • Had some milky and didn’t go back to sleep anymore.
  • Daddy fed her breakfast while mummy went back to sleep till 1.30pm.
  • Headed out to Grammie’s house after daddy fed her lunch.
  • Didn’t want her noodles while at Grammie’s but had loads of chocolate and home-made ice cream – ginger kind.
  • Played with Aunt Helena’s piano.. and had a ball.
  • Came home at 9.30pm and had her cereal.
  • Daddy bathed her and gave her some milky.
  • Played for abit before going to the living room to watch a movie and go to bed.
  • But she just wouldn’t settle down.. and had to have another milky at midnite before she would finally go to bed. Mummy had to leave the room too.

    Tickle, Tickle

    Chloe did a really funny thingie last nite.. she went singing tone “dang,dang,dang,dang,dang,dang” .. and she had two fingers sticking out.. and said.. “tickle, tickle” .. hhahhahaha!!!

    My brat is full of funny things.. ! but seeing her so cute.. how to get mad with her.. for not sleeping and keeping mummy up the whole nite..???

    My gal just wanna have fun.. i guess.. 🙂

    Arty Farty

    One thing i missed alot about Singapore.. is attending those arty farty concerts. Tang Quartet is one of the many that i’ve attended. I remember they were still very new.. and I saw one of their very first concert.. with my friend .. Coco.. 🙂

    All the 4 guys were pretty young… but pretty fabulous .. when it came to their music..! i simply fell in love with their music. They had charisma alright..!! Two played the violin.. and another a Cello.. the same as what Coco used to play for charity.

    And i think one or two of them used to play with the SSO. And if you know anything about Singapore.. you would know that the SSO’s performance is one of the best you would ever hear..:)

    Daily Updates – 07th Jan 2006

  • Chloe finally slept at 11.20pm last nite, I think it was because of the hive’s medication.
  • She didn’t wake up till almost 5am and had some milky and pee pee changed but last nite.. she was a real bad gal..!
  • After rubbing her tummy and back for almost an hour.. she still didn’t wanna go back to sleep.
  • Whenever I got up, she would start crying and insist that I sleep with her on the floor and rub her back.
  • So at 6.15am, i said to her .. enough was enough.. because she never does that to her daddy.
  • I let her cry abit, and even threatened to leave the room if she continued to fuss.
  • Finally at 6.50pm, she went to sleep on her own. Prolly exhausted from all the crying.
  • Woke up at about 10am for daddy and daddy fed her breakfast and all. Lots of cereal but so-so on the yogurt.
  • After mummy woke up and Katelynn came for babysitting, we headed to the store.
  • We stayed for abit, and daddy sent Katelynn and her home for lunch. Katelynn said she ate good for lunch and had some milky and took an hour nap.
  • Daddy fed her dinner after we came home from the store.
  • She wasn’t too, too fussy after dinner, and had a piece of chocolate from daddy.
  • Had her bath when daddy went back to the store to lock up and had some milky, was fussy for abit and didn’t wanna put on her long-sleeve shirt.
  • Ate a few corn from the fried rice that mummy and daddy had for dinner. And wanted more water.
  • Did a small poopie..at about 11pm.
  • Had a late cereal, and was fussy about it in the beginning but did managed to finish it all.
  • Finally fell asleep at midnite while mummy was taking a shower.

    I love Sakura so much..!! i grew up watching her raise money for charity on National TV back home. But most of all.. she was my mom’s idol..!!!

    If you ever heard her yodel .. you would know what i mean.. by loving her .. 😉
