As you all know.. i’ve been frying up fried bee hoon of late.. most times.. it’s good.. and other times.. just mediocre.
Yesterday.. i fried some bee hoon up.. really late.. coz’ i was tired of eating soupy beehoon with tom yum paste. It was late.. but this is by far one of the best .. i’ve cooked. I added fu-chuk in it too.. the ones that Gerald Leblanc got for me.. from Halifax. I think the real secret in making good fried bee hoon is the shallots. I had fried up alot of it.. with loads of oil.. and used it liberally while i was frying the beehoon last nite.
I know it lacks color.. but i can’t find towgay or baby bok choi.. so had to make do lor. So yup.. if you wanna fry up good fried beehoon.. alot of shallot and its oil.. is a must.
