To be honest with you .. after being in Canada for so many years.. and having so many bad health report.. from being diabetic .. to fibroids.. and then the TB scare.. you would understand.. why i am finally so relieve .. that they clear me of my health issues recently.
Nope.. i never knew i was diabetic till i came to Canada.. during one of my immigration check up..! when i did find out.. i thought my life was over..! i was devastated..!! I would pricked my fingers.. 4 times.. a day.. just to check my sugar level. And those strips ain’t cheap you know..! about 50 cents a strip.. !! so i was like spending 2 bucks a day.. just to check the sugar level. And nope.. medical insurance didn’t cover that..!!
And then i found out that i was pregnant with Chloe… and i was sick all day long..!! and had to take diclatin, a special tablet to keep the nausea feeling away.. and it was ex..!!! about 150 bucks for a 100 tablets.. and i need to take like 4 a day..!! so it got really expensive .. after a while.. and i was like 9 months sick..! And then they make me go thru’ all those blood test.. and that cost us another $1000+ just for blood work. And each time i visited the pre-natal clinic.. i had to pay an extra $150 besides the doctor’s fee .. for consultation… because i didn’t have my MSI card then. Well.. lets just say it was alot of money .. having Chloe.. just to cut the story short. And yes.. as soon as chloe was born.. my MSI card came.. muahahahhahaha!!! yah.. a real JOKE eh..?? the MSI card covers all my medical needs.
After having chloe.. my fibroids moved.. and started growing rapidly.. thus causing me lots of discomfort..! Well .. it was no fun lah..! Every months menses was like hell. Poor PB .. kenna left, right and center..!! because i miss home so much… and of course no confinement lady.. no confinement food.. and then make me more the miserable lah. Luckily my MIL came to stay with us.. and helped us alot with Chloe..!! but what’s MOST amazing is PB..!!! He did everything for Chloe. From poopie change to bathing her…. he was really, really good with the brat. Even my MIL was amazed with what PB was doing… coz’ she never thought he would be SO good.. with the brat. And I .. ??? i was the handicap.. i didn’t really do much.. except not being able to sleep.. because Chloe was a colicky baby.
Well.. after the fibroids were in control.. then recently the TB scare.. from the x-rays i took for immigration..! I didn’t sleep good.. and i was frustrated..!! i wonder why this have to happen to me.. because not only all these caused extra money.. it’s so worrisome. Already paid for one x-ray up in Halifax.. and then gotta pay for another one.. here in this town..! when i had to take another one. On top of it all.. kenna make to run around.. like a fool.. by these doctors/radiologist.
So you can imagine .. what a relieve it is for me.. now that everything is clear.. and i donch have TB.. and we figured.. i am not gonna get any trouble with immigration and hopefully i will hear back from them in a few months.. and get a full-fledge citizenship.
