All homes in UK that wants to be put up for sale must complete a Home Information Packs before you even market your home, according to the Housing Act 2004. The pack consist of all the necessary documentation that you will need for the sale of your house, for example, the terms of sale, evidence of title, standard searches, planning consents and building control certificates, property information form, warranties and guarantee and home condition report for energy efficiency assessment.
All the above is said to be valuable for both the sellers and buyers , although as of 1st June, the Government indicated that it is only voluntary to do it. Therefore, for all property owners looking to buy or sell their property, do check out the updated Home Information Packs.
