The interior decorating your house or a cottage for the summer, reflects alot on the owner and also set the atmosphere of what you want to achieve when you are in your summer cottage or in your home. Arriving in Nova Scotia makes me realised very quickly that there just isn’t enough unique and different furnishing store in town. Every store you go into, they carry just about the same as everyone else. That means to say.. that your neighbour’s home may even look exactly like yours.
I am a firm believer of having a theme for your home, so for our summer cottage, i want to make sure that i get those rustic furniture, so that we can feel that we are actually on vacation and invited guests at our cottage, would feel very welcome and will set their mood to fun mode. And because we don’t have this kind of furniture around town, I have always complained that someone should look into these Wholesale Furniture and open a store right in town, so that everyone can benefit from it. If we didn’t already own our own business, the spouse and I would definitely consider it, because the minimum wholesale order is only $1000, after discounts and discounts increase greatly with volume. It is really something to look into as Southwestern Furniture have never been in retail here before.
And since tourism has been so bad the last few years, bed and breakfast owners, like our neighbours should try to spice up their establishment by renovating it to the likes of a Tuscan resort, I bet the tourist would love it.
