Unique Presents

It is not easy to buy presents for my parents. Everytime, we asked them what would like like for say, Christmas. Their reply is usually, nothing, we have everything. And we really don’t want to buy something just because of buying them, we want gifts to represent our love, our thoughts for them and more.

Totally From The Heart

We were at the Canadian Dollar store after our late lunch at Jungle Jims. I had wanted to just browse around.. and of course to get the brat some cheapie toys. And i spotted some knock off crocs and bought one for Mr Choo’s 1 year old kid. Unfortunately, her feet were as big as Chloe’s so i have to bring it back to exchange it. But Mrs Choo who was delivery our food was thanking us profusely.. and thoughtfulness, but to me it was actually nothing.. it was on the way. And guess what she didn’t wanna collect the money for our food.. *slap forehead* .. oh no..!! not again..!!

When my friends or relatives visit our home, they always say our bathroom vanities are simple yet elegant. We had carefully chosen the design ourselves, to fit him and her… and our bathroom is not those girly gal type.. because one has gotta think of the man too eh.

The Basement Our Recreation Room

PB is always going on about fixing up the basement and making it into his recreation room. He already have a 52″ tv .. and home theatre seating, plus the bar and the pinball machine for entertaining his buddies. Now if we can find some popcorn machines that are affordable… that’s my contribution to his “play-pen”.

Just As Taxing

I don’t know about other people but I get really stressful .. preparing for a trip .. and even if it was a short one.. it gets onto my nerve. One needs to make sure you pack all the important stuff.. and your travel supplies as well. And of course with a brat .. you not only need to get her clothes.. but all her toys.. and her blankie.. and more. So going for a vacation or a short break isn’t that fun at all. Are you like me..?? or I’m alone on this..??

My Beauty Sleep

Before having the lil’ brat .. i’ve always had a good 8 – 10hrs of sleep.. and good peaceful rest.. that does great for my skin. These day if i can get 6 hrs uninterrupted.. i would be grateful… as you all know that brat is no sleeper even from young. We even bought a great foam mattress, to help with the back that is aching. And I’m sure all mummies out there can sympathize with me.. about getting sleep. Are you getting enough sleep..??

Trucking Grampie

For those who knows my father-in-law .. you know how much he loves gardening and trucking. Yes.. he is very good with his hands.. just like my brother-in-law .. Richard. You should see the chrome door handles he has on one of his trucks. I hear it is very durable and there was no hassle in installation as well.

Reading Is A Luxury

Yes.. reading is a luxury these days. With the store.. and looking after a toddler.. sure doesn’t leave you alot of time. Plus this brat of mine.. she only eats home-cooked food.. and not otherwise.. but even though i don’t have time for reading, i still buy alot of books, especially if they are on sale for about 50% less than what i can get at the retail store. I love the savings.. and i’m sure i’ll get to read it one fine day.
