Busy

Yes.. we have been busy.. with running around trying to decide if we should move our business to a busier street .. and forgo . .the huge space we have or wait for another opportunity to come along.
Busy with our workers.. !
Busy with the babysitter. Busy dealing with my CS neighbour.. who came by the store one nite with problems with his puter.. and making us close later than usual.
Busy with paying bills .. and catching up on our sleep.
Busy with planning to spend time with Chloe’s Godma .. who should be here today.
Busy with working more at the store.. and planning for Halloween decor for the store.
And we will only continue to get busier .. because Christmas is just round the corner.. !!
But can’t really complain much.. since the spouse is helping with the mopping of the floors without having to ask him.. and doing the laundry as well. So he was rewarded to some gaming time last nite.. while i took care that the brat didn’t get in the way of his raid session..!

Daily Updates – 4th Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 12.30amlast nite and woke up at 2.30am.
  • Daddy gave her some milky and she went back to sleep at 3am.
  • Got up at 8am and had some milky and went back to sleep at 8.50am.
  • Finally got up with Daddy at 10am.
  • Had breakfast and yogurt with daddy. And played with daddy till mummy got up at 12.20pm.
  • Went to the mall to get movies for the store, went back to the store, then headed to the church to pick grammie up from line-dancing and sent grammie to the hospital for a check-up.
  • Came home had lunch and didn’t finish lunch.
  • Grammie brought her out for a walk because she didn’t wanna let mummy go to work.
  • Played with Grammie the whole afternoon and didn’t take a nap.
  • Had dinner with Grammie and finished with daddy feeding her.
  • Had an early bath, just in case she goes down early to bed.
  • Had some milky after her bath and she cranked right up, being overly-hyper.
  • Gave her some fruit loops to calm her down and so that we can eat too, but nope crank right up still.
  • Brat fell asleep in the living room at 9pm but woke up at 10pm, we are expecting a rough nite today.

    Lunch View

    We usually choose to eat at The Colony because we do get a nice view.. of the boats .. and the sea. but today.. our favourite corner.. was taken. Even at 3pm .. the restaurant had a few tables occupied. This was the view we got where we sat. Not the best.. but we got to admire The Cat.

    Lousy Lunch

    Usually we have a really decent lunch at The Colony, but my bad today.. i just went ahead and order a soup and a sandwich .. thinking that it was gonna be BLT. But to my surprised it wasn’t .. and i hated un-toasted sandwiches..! And the mushroom soup.. too too creamy for my liking.. !
    Oh well.. my fault .. i guess for not checking what kinda sandwich.. otherwise.. i would have ordered grill ham and cheese.. 🙂 And for some reason .. today’s coffee was stale.. the first cup anyways.. i had to ask for another.
    Bummer eh..??

    Chuch

    One of the churches in town, where Grammie goes line-dancing. We had to pick grammie up today.. so i took the opportunity to take a shot for everyone to see .. what beautiful window panes they had. I had wanted to raid the church..but grammie came out . .before i got in.. hahah!!

    Scented Voltives

    This was the amount of scented candles i bought today at Lawtons. And i’m not kidding when i say . .i love scented candles. They are for the store .. and my home. And as you and I know.. scented candles ain’t cheap… so guess who is at lost in the end..??!!??

    Daily Updates – 3rd Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 11.45pm on the floor last nite, watching Corner Gas with us.
  • Woke up at 3am for some milky and went straight back to sleep.
  • Only got up at 9am this morning.
  • Had some milky and fruit loops and then had cereal and yogurt.
  • She was pretty good and played quietly till daddy woke up at 11.15am.
  • Had a snack and went to the store for abit.
  • Came home had lunch and milky and was went down for a nap at 4pm.
  • Katelynn the babysitter will be in today.
  • Woke up from her nap at 5.10pm with Katelynn.
  • Had dinner with Katelynn but puked after having her dinner so daddy had to rush home just in case Katelynn panics.
  • But Katelynn did good ..and cleaned her up before daddy got home.
  • Came by the store with daddy after dinner and played with Katelynn but got stucked because of customer.
  • Came home with brat and Katelynn and bathed after the babysitter left. She loves her babysitter.
  • Cranked up after bath .. and had stuffy nose and had cereal and slept at 12.30am.

    KNNCBB !!


    Self-explanatory as below. Ppl should take a lesson or two from Sobeys Customer Service and Management , instead of shrugging on responsibility. A simple, I am sorry and we will definitely look into it would have done nicely or might i suggest .. this could be the reason why.. instead of We hope this has informed you how to burn a candle safely.
    I wonder if they do stop and think for their client – Pharmasave or not..?? because this inadvently would cause me to have bad feelings about buying anything from Pharmasave in the future. And to tell you the truth.. i buy lots of candles.. and i have receipts to prove it.

    Dear Mr Macleod,
    Attached please find pictures taken of a votive that i had purchase from pharmasave a few weeks ago.
    I had used it a couple of days ago, and last nite.. this was what happened.
    I suspect that the cup holding the voltive is too thin .. therefore it burnt my window ledge when it was almost done.
    I am writing.. so that you are aware of this.. that way.. some other customer/s will not have the same problem as I.
    Had my husband not been at home last nite.. i would have panic.. and try to use water on the cup.. and that would have been more disastrous..! with broken glass flying around.. and prolly cut me and my toddler.
    I am bringing this to your attention .. in hope that no one will get hurt or any houses burnt down in the near future.

    Daily Updates – 2nd Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 11.30pm on the floor last nite.
  • Woke up at 1.15am, earlier than usual. Had some milky and went back to bed at 1.45am.
  • Woke up yet again .. at 4am and went back to sleep at 5.28am.
  • Woke up 9am, and daddy gave her some milk and she slept from 9.30am to 10.30am.
  • Had a late breakfast with daddy, because mummy only slept at 7.24am.
  • Daddy said she was pretty good all morning.
  • Had a snack at 12.30pm when mummy woke up.
  • Played the piano, watched some movies with mummy and daddy.
  • Had late lunch and headed out to grammie’s.
  • Slept in the car on the way to grammie’s and woke up playing with cats immediately.
  • She had such a fun time at grammie’s and even hugged Uncle Richard for the first time.
  • Getting so much better with everyone, even shake hands with an older couple who were buying vegies from Grampie.
  • Came home had a snack, bathed and had milky and some fruit loops and more cereal.
  • Fell asleep at 11.45pm with mummy & daddy in the living room while watching corner gas.

    Good Times

    We had such a good time at Grammie’s and Grampie’s yesterday. Our little brat was playing with cats.. and taking walks with Grammie in the garden. And even shake hands with total strangers who were at the fruit stand . .buying vegies from my in laws.
    She even hugged Uncle Rich for the first time.. and hugged grampie a few times.. without any fuss. It is really heartwarming to see her enjoying her time with her Grampie and Grammie.
    I really want a different relationship for my brat and her grandparents.. because i never had a close one with mine.. because of both my parents.. who never got along with theirs.
    Plus my spouse’s parents are really different from mine… and i know they will be good influence for my brat.. and of course there is Uncle Rich… anyone bullying my brat.. better answer to her Uncle Rich..! hahahha!
    I love having strong family ties.. and envied my friends who have great families.. therefore.. i am only too pleased .. that my spouse’s family are great ppl..!
    And we always have lots of food. .and loads of fun at Grammie’s and Grampie’s.
