My cousin who is a web-designer uses osCommerce Templates to design our current online shopping cart for our store. I had always wonder how she gets so many ideas from her template till she started doing ours .. and let me in on her secret. Looks like osCommerce has the largest template membership site on the internet too. And signing up as a member gives you full access to all their templates.
I was also wondering if i could do the same .. for my little side business and since i don’t know anything about tweaking the template. But they do have information and guide in editing and customizing products.
On top of being able to learn how to customize my work, i want an efficient and cost-effective stylist layout for my website. An extensive range of templates is what i really want, so that i can have a choice of what templates i want and during what seasons. The template that I want has to be fully functional too and of course easy to use and do not need too much work on the logo and images and text. I really wouldn’t mind advanced features and customization .. but i will have to learn my HTML editing applications first.

Once a member, the products available to you is royalty free but remember you do not own the template, unless a special license is bought. Overall, I can see myself using osCommerce Templates without much problem even though i am not an expert in web-design. They also have a forum that you can go to.. discuss issues and to get answers to any problems you might encounter. And of course you can always contact their support for any issues on billing and template questions at anytime of the day, just leave a ticket for them and they will get back to you.
