Not every immigrant to Canada is very happy right at this moment. And rightly so they should be. For those who paid $130K to receive contracts with Nova Scotia business and a fast track ticket to Canadian citizenship, not all will be getting a $100K refund from the government.
“That’s not fair, said Ali Shirazi, a plastic surgeon from Iran who paid nearly $130,000 and completed his contract, but felt he did not get his money’s worth.”
Apparently, Dr Shirazi did not get a job in his field and he wants what is rightfully his. Can’t say I blame the poor doctor from Iran eh..? But was he placed in a fish plant under the business mentor program..?? Paying up front $130K and then getting back a $20K salary for a 6 months contract meaning, they get like 3.3K per month, which normal folks from Nova Scotia make like $1.6K per month. Some complained that th immigration office did not provide them with a suitable mentor.
Chloe ex-family doctor was from Egypt and he didn’t stay long in small town Barrington. I wonder if he was in the same program..?? and let as soon as his 6 months were up..?? But it looks like the immigration office isn’t gonna budge either.
