Daylight Savings

Daylight savings just started 2mins ago..!! that would mean that the nites will be longer.. and the days shorter.. !

It’s starting to be really cold out.. and winter is coming for sure. I just hope that the snow donch come too soon this year. and not too hard please.

Fruitless

Today was not a fruitful day at all..! i slept in too late.. and made papabok do too much… and thus making him.. not able to move more stuff into the new store as planned. It was raining lots too today.. ! so making us all lazy to do anything.

Brat didn’t cooperate either.. and didn’t wanna nap in the afternoon. Plus JR who was supposed to wait for PapaBoK .. left.. and didn’t come back till we were about to close store.. bummer..!!

I hope tomorrow will be a better day for us.. in terms of getting more stuff done.

Daily Updates – 28th Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 12.15am last nite, with not much fuss in the living room.
  • Woke up at 3.50am with daddy and had her milky and peepee changed.. and slept at 4.30am.
  • Woke up at 9.12am with her milky and peepee changed.
  • Had some cookies.. and wanted to watch Simpsons on the big tv.
  • Had cereal and yogurt for breakfast and let mummy cook her own breakfast without any fuss.
  • Was abit fussy.. when mummy wanted to eat her breakfast.
  • Daddy looked after her when he woke up and mummy went for a nap and woke up at 1pm.
  • Played with daddy while mummy did payroll… and then daddy fed her .. while mummy showered.
  • Came by the store for abit.. and played with Sarah and messed up her corner. Had some milky and daddy sent her home for a nap.
  • Napped at 3.45pm, babysitter was in by 3.30pm.
  • Woke up at 4.53pm and had a snack and a drink.
  • Dinner with babysitter at 6pm.
  • Went by the store for an hour and a half with babysitter.
  • Came home and carried her chair on her own.. and climbed on it and turned the lights on and off in the kitchen.
  • Had cereal and then bath and washed hair.. and some milky.
  • Slept at 11.30pm in the living room without much fuss.

    Deepavali & Hari Raya Puasa

    Back home this weekend.. everyone of our Indian friends.. and muslim friends will be celebrating Diwali and Hari Raya Puasa, while Papa BoK would be trying to move the store.. and set up everything for the new store.. all on his own.. except for some help from some really good ppl.

    I am noting this down, so that I can remember and explain the many different cultures we have in asia to my brat when she is older.

    Do i miss this festivals..?? yes .. alot..! i was brought up in a Malay kampong.. and therefore .. am very familiar with the practices of my muslims friends. I remember all the good food.. and sweets given to us in a tray.. by our muslims friends. .when i was a kid. The muslim has such a rich culture.. and i can still remember their weddings.. and just loved it…!! the drums.. and pounding during the parade when the bride arrives.. is exhilarating..!

    I donch have many indian friends though.. but I remember Muthu and his sister . who stayed in Block D of our kampong. My oldest brother used to have a song for Muthu… i cannot remember what it is now.. but it was sure funny… and Muthu was surely upset.. with my brother… hahahha!! when we were kids.

    DEEPAVALI or Diwali means “a row of lights” or the Festival of Lights.

    Muslims celebrate the festival of Aidilfitri – popularly known as Hari Raya Puasa, or simply Hari Raya (Day of Celebration) – to mark the culmination of Ramadhan, the holy month of fasting.

    Moving Slowly

    We got the keys to the new store 2 days ago .. and Papa BoK started moving some stuff since yesterday.. with a friend JR .. !

    I am grateful to friends like JR .. who is always there to give us a lending hand.

    Today JR was in after work.. and helped more .. so the moving is going.. but slowly.

    The big stuff will be moved on Sunday.. so hopefully we get a good turn out .. that way we can get more stuff moved.

    And there we will be able to see who our friends really are..??

    Light Switches

    When we came home tonite from the store with our brat.. guess what she did..??!!!?? She got her Little Tikes chair.. and carried it by herself.. heaving and sighing.. and put it on the kitchen floor, climbed on it.. and turned the kitchen lights on and off.. and clapped her hands. .and expects us to clap with her..!!
    Lights will never be the same for us again now.. !

    Daily Updates – 27th Oct 2005

  • The brat slept at 11.30am last nite, with not much fuss in the living room.
  • Woke up at 2.58am and had her milky and peepee changed.. and after her milk went straight back to sleep.
  • Woke up at 9.20am with her daddy and had her milky.
  • Fussy during breakfast according to daddy.
  • Had a snack when mummy woke up at 11am and juice.
  • Went by the store for abit and fell asleep in the car .. because mummy had to run to the mall to get some personal hygiene stuff.
  • Played with Sarah for abit.. and then came home for lunch.
  • Had some banana when mummy and daddy were having it.
  • Had some milky but refuses to nap.. so Daddy had to drive her around.
  • Napped at 4.15pm, babysitter will be here to babysit.
  • Slept till 6pm and babysitter woke her up.
  • Had dinner with babysitter.. and must have harrassed poor her.. the whole nite.
  • Papa bathed her.. after we came home.. and gave her some milky.
  • Had a late cereal..and then went to bed..with little fuss in the living room at 12.15am.

    Daily Updates – 26th Oct 2006

  • The brat slept at 12.30am last nite, with not much fuss in the living room but refuses to sleep in her crib..
  • Woke up several times when papa try to put her to bed.
  • Finally ended up on the floor.
  • Woke up at 6.17am and had some milky but refuses to go back to sleep soundly… and wanting her back rubbed by mummy.
  • Finally, went to sleep at 7.35am and woke up at 8.50am with daddy. Mummy stayed in bed till 1pm.
  • Had breakfast with daddy and lunch with mummy.
  • Went by the store for abit and had to drive her around for nap time.
  • Cried and tried to puke because we took the toy skeleton she was playing with from her.
  • Daddy had to drive her around for a good 15mins.. before she did sleep at 3.55pm, so he was late for work.
  • Short nap, woke up at 4.50pm.
  • Had her milky and a snack of chips.. and wanted more after she finished. Cranked right up when mummy said no. We do not encourage junk food.
  • After changing her peepee, watched a movie with mummy and played abit.
  • Had dinner and some water.. and rested abit.. and had an early bath and milky.
  • Sat on mummy’s neck, the whole time before letting mummy eat her noodles and refuses to eat the cupcake that mummy prepared for her.
  • Had a big icy..and was banging the icy onto her face, we think she is teething again.
  • Daddy fed her cereal after he came home.. and took over the brat so that mummy can rest.
  • Daddy brought her to the living room, so mummy have a few mins to do her own things on the puter and she was dancing in the living room.
  • Watched some TV and fell asleep in the living room at 11.45pm.
