My shoes came! woohoo!!! i loved this shoes so much and had wanted to get a pair for the longest time but because of the custom charges, I am adamant not to pay a lot for custom. So I waited for it to go on sale and it really did and for the ones that I wanted.
And I didn’t have to pay for custom because it came by USPS and not by Fedex or UPS. Love ! love ! love! and yes, it’s all leather there.
Yes, yes ! we did buy another house in town for investment , it is currently rented out to a couple who moved from Vancouver to here. And just the other day, Chloe had asked if we had insurance for all our properties, in which I had replied that we certainly do. Our current insurance company is just as good as allred insurance that my g/f uses in the USA for all her investment properties as well as health and life insurance.
Chloe is constantly worried about fire and us dying, I have no idea why. If someone’s place is on fire from out of town, she is afraid that ours could be by a bush fire or an electrical outlet malfunction. Just this morning, she told me, I hope you don’t die *slap forehead* I don’t know why she comes up with things like that. So I told her she don’t have anything to worry about because PB and I have life insurance, health insurance, the houses and cottages are insured, so we are pretty much quite safe.
So Chloe had handed me a list of teachers and TAs and staff from school she wanted to thank. And if you know my Chloe, you will know how much she enjoys school except for the first year with her french teacher and the little boy who keeps touching her bum from another school. Subsequently, we never had any trouble and she enjoys all her teachers very much. Chloe is always grateful for all the attention that her teachers gives her and those given to her by Mr Purdy her principal as well as Mrs Rose, who takes care of her lunch everyday.
She listed all the reasons why she wanted to thank everyone on her list and she even reminded me that she wants to thank Mrs OB because she is her favorite teacher. She loves her current teachers as well, Mrs Eyre and Mrs Bridgeo and have nothing but good things to say about her teachers. She loves her TAs Ms Holly and Ms Patsy because of them, she is able to concentrate in class while they take care of other students. This year, she also has a french teacher – Mdm Rhyno and Chloe just adores her – Chloe said that because of Mdm Rhyno , she loves her french.
I am so grateful for all of Chloe’s teachers, past and present and of course the librarian and Mrs Rose, who is a friendly face to Chloe when she is in school. They all make attending school so much fun for Chloe and she loves school so much, you can never find another happier kid than Chloe when it comes to going to school.
Every year we try to do a little something for all these special educators, I know we don’t do enough to show how much we appreciate them but we try every year. From the bottom of our heart, we want to thank them for helping Chloe grow into a wonderful kid, because of them, Chloe will be a fine young lady in the future.
For the longest time, I never had time to plant or beautify my lawn or garden. Plus everytime, I’m ready to do it, the bugs and mosquitoes are in full force. Last year, a friend made a huge flower planter for us – of course we paid him for the trouble, so this year, I’m repotting some flowers on my own. I’m really enjoying it so much , as my current neighbors are wonderful people. And they are so good with the kids and never sweat the small stuff. Chloe would go over to play with their little boy and no complains.
I’m loving the potting and repotting of plants, my MIL would be proud of me if she was alive today.
I have a wonderful father-in-law, not only does he grows baby bok choy for me because I missed veggies from home, he does all the cool stuff for Chloe, like building chloe first swing for her and now another one in his house. We even had our own camp fire , so that Chloe can roast her marshmallows.
Chloe had so much fun and so did I. I loved going out and enjoying the fresh air, minus the bugs and mosquitoes.

I finally got to open the goodies that I had bought from Halifax some 4 months ago during March break. Yes, I had been so busy with all the things that were gifted to me by friends and advertisers that I didn’t have time to look into the stuff that I had bought some 4 months ago – such a slacker I am. But it’s actually only because I’m so blessed with all the things that Chloe and I have been receiving from friends, home and advertisers, so there was no hurry at all to open the stuff that I had bought.
But here they are, cosmetic and skin care products that I had thought I needed when I was in the city with my g/f and family. Oh plus , I did go for a trip to LA for GenCon , so I had a lot of goodies that I had brought back with me too from sponsors.

Yes, school had been interrupted since last week Thursday. There was an oil leak in Chloe’s school and we were called to pick Chloe up from school earlier than usual. Subsequently, we found out that school had to be closed due to health reasons and while some kids may love it, Chloe is so bored, I don’t even know what else I can do with her today.
We’ve gone thru’ her geometry test, we’ve done extra work with her piano recital, her grampie bought her a skate board, she had been doing bracelet with her rainbow loomz for her bracelet business. Done paintings for her painting business, helped clean the store, helped clean the house, played with her cousins. Gone for a haircut, been to the cottage, yes, just about everything.
We are also worried if she will catch up with the rest of her school work intended for this year since there isn’t any plan for summer school for the missing time. But I’m sure the school and her teachers are just as worried and will do their best to help make up for the lost time. But truth be told, I don’t mind if Chloe had extended classes during the summer, whatever it takes to make sure she gets to cover her entire school curriculum without having to rush thru’ it because of time constraint.
But I’m pretty sure that her teachers know what they are doing and the part of me being the helicopter mom is creeping up. hhahahha!!
Yes, a package from Gap came for Chloe from her Godma in Toronto. Yes, more clothing for Chloe for the summer I believe. We didn’t open it immediately but I had forgotten to take pictures of all the clothes that came for Chloe because we were busy testing out to see if it would fit her alright. Chloe is very blessed ! presents every week. need I say more.
Chloe announced to her Aunt the other day that she was going to DisneyLand this summer but without her – a matter-of-factly way. hahahaha!!! yes, that’s my girl for you , so honest and so direct. So she finally agree to go on the plane this summer and we are very excited about it of course! since we are planning to go home to Singapore like next year. So a shorter flight first and then the long flight back to Asia next year – 28 hrs!!!
So yes, we are going to Disneyland or Disney World this summer! with the love of my life! We are also going to meet up with my PR company there and maybe fit in some meetings while we are there. SKII has invited me to their office and make up factory to look at some of their new stuff and I’m so stoked that they are going to make the hotel arrangement as well as the limousine for us to travel around while we are in the city.
We are planning to spend 5 days in Disneyland and then some work time for me while PB and Chloe explore the city on their own. We do have a teacher/friend who is helping us out at the store while we are out on vacation and for the rest of the summer, we are going to enjoy our summer cottage.
Yes! it’s Christmas all year round for Chloe as usual. Today, we received another package from her Godmother from Singapore. Yes, a $90 postage box – what a lucky girl my daughter is right? well, when you have a mom that is that popular, you can help but get presents from all over the world hahah!!
