Binge Eating

I binge eat too, even though I hate to admit it. But folks say that people eat to alot and loads of time, is because to numb their pain. I also noticed i eat many times.. when i am stressed or upset about something. But i donch eat large amounts of food frequently and in one sitting nor feel out of control when i eat and can’t stop eating. I eat opening but quickly and i eat sometimes to a point where i am uncomfy because i donch wanna waste food. I can’t finish a bowl of chinese noodles. And I donch feel guilty or ashamed of my binges.

I’m still wondering if i have a eating disorder.. because i love eating at nite.. when the brat is sleeping.. and watching my chinese movies. What do you think..??

PB going Healthy

PB who loves junk food.. has been going healthy for 2 weeks now. Not only did he stopped eating chocolates.. he is buying fruits .. on his own.. and eating grapes.. by the bowl.. and exercising on our stationary bike. Nope..it has nothing to do with me.. and if you know PB … you know he hates fruits with a vengeance.. so he is really .. definitely trying to go healthy. I was quite surprised he came back one day ..with a box of fruits.. not a cup.. but box… from the grocery store.

Made In China

Yes.. I am Chinese.. !! But like me tell everyone for the 1000 times..!! I am not from China..!!! In my 7 yrs here in Canada… i donch know how many ppl have said this to me.. “But you are chinese right..??” or “Are you from China..??” Donch get me wrong ya.. i am very proud to be a chinese.. but I am really actually from a very efficient country.. Singapore, where our “garmen” teaches us to be super efficient, hardworking and to conform to “their” standards. Yes.. yes.. we are bloody robots when we are home.

Anyways, yesterday I read that pencils were recalled and about 140,000 set sold since January. Pencil coating contains too much lead. The pencils were made in China..! where else.. eh..?? It has gotta be China.. for sure..! Anyways, if you happened to have purchase these set of pencils as below, make sure you throw them away immediately.

Those Slimming Specialist

Before coming to Canada.. I was intrigue.. by someone i knew.. from way back.. when i worked in the hotel industry. She is famous ok..!! so when i saw her picture of her so slim and all.. representing a slimming salon .. i of course got confidence lah..! that was like 8 yrs ago.

Anyhow.. a quick call to her.. and i was invited to view the spa.. it was in Katong. I was quite interested.. and decided to sign up.. because i wanted to get healthy.. and certain parts of my body.. just wouldn’t let go of the fats. Plus .. i love food lah..!

Well.. this is first hand experience ya.. i didn’t even start going for my “treatment” when they wanted me to pay upfront.. which i did .. half .. it was like $1500 and i got busy at work.. with travelling.. so i couldn’t go for my first treatment.. but guess what..?? they kept calling..and calling.. and calling.. and harrassed me.. till no end..! Till i told them to keep the $1500 for i wasn’t gonna go thru’ with the spa thing.. or losing weight.. coz’ as far as i can see.. they were only interested in my other 1500 bucks..!!

Was i pissed..?? Definitely..!! from that day on.. i never even looked into another slimming program..! it’s a matter of discipline.. when it comes to wanting to lose weight.. and you can really do it on your own.. without any supplement. Yes.. they kept my $1500 and wouldn’t refund it.. but that’s alright.. coz’ i wouldn’t be receiving some damn calls in the middle of my nite.. while i am on job.

Expensive Fruits

I love fruits.. and if i could eat them everyday for a meal.. i would. But because i am diabetic.. i have had to cut down on all fruits. Fruits are expensive here…! this small cup of mixed fruits.. is at $2.99 .. about RM$10 and these was from a grocery store. Not a restaurant or anything. Fresh pineapples are expensive at $5.99 a pineapple .. wherelse back home.. you can get them for like $1.00 or in Bangkok .. a cup of fruits like that probably cost like $0.25.

Medical Relieve

To be honest with you .. after being in Canada for so many years.. and having so many bad health report.. from being diabetic .. to fibroids.. and then the TB scare.. you would understand.. why i am finally so relieve .. that they clear me of my health issues recently.

Nope.. i never knew i was diabetic till i came to Canada.. during one of my immigration check up..! when i did find out.. i thought my life was over..! i was devastated..!! I would pricked my fingers.. 4 times.. a day.. just to check my sugar level. And those strips ain’t cheap you know..! about 50 cents a strip.. !! so i was like spending 2 bucks a day.. just to check the sugar level. And nope.. medical insurance didn’t cover that..!!

How to lose 30 pounds instantly

I was just joking with PB .. that if i ever take off my fibroids, I will instantly lose 30 pounds..! Yup.. that’s how huge my fibroids are.. hahaha!!

Before i had chloe.. my fibroids did not bother me at all. It is only after i had chloe.. my fibroids started to act up.. every now and then. If you are wondering why i never got it out..?? it’s because when Chloe was younger.. she was a very needy baby.. on top of that.. PB has a business to take care of.. and cannot be spending time with me.. in the hospital. So being the better other half.. muahahahhaha!! i parked it away.. till we have more reliable workers .. or when my MIL can come help with chloe.. or till it is a slower period at the store.

But of course as always.. everything else took priority before my own health.. afterall it isn’t life – threatening.. just very uncomfy at times. But i tell yer .. the minute i take out my fibroids.. muahahhaha!! i’m gonna be a sexy one..!!! yer just watch and see..!! hahhaha!!

At Home and No Fun

Been home the whole day.. and certainly it isn’t fun at all. Stayed home because this is supposedly to be the worst day of my PMS .. so with that anticipation.. i got Keegan to come babysit chloe at the store for me.. while i stay home and try to do some housework.. or cooking or something.. but nope.. feeling so lethagic.. and only managed to take a shower so far.

Well the weather suxs .. big time. .it is raining.. cats and dogs.. since early this morning. So ya.. i got to stay home.. and nursing a huge headache.. tummy cramps.. and all the yukky stuff.. and having diarrhea..! cool eh..?? one day off.. and that’s how i am spending it.

The brat will be home anytime now.. so i’ll have to go cooking dinner for her really soon. Haven’t cooked alot for her lately.. because either i’m sick.. or the stuff i wanna cook for her.. i can’t buy them.. outta stock. Yup.. just my luck…! and you know these days.. i donch go grocery shopping.. no time.. so i send PB to get stuff for me.. and of course.. you can imagine .. if i asked for something and there is none.. he won’t know what alternative to buy. So kenna stuck lah..! Anyhow.. gotta run.. !

Down & Down

Arrrghhhh..!! i’m freaking sick..!! yup.. ! and i thought i wasn’t getting it .. when PB and chloe got ill during the weekend. But yesterday came.. and i was so damn sick..!!!

Running nose.. headache.. sore throat..!! i hate the sore throat part though..!

And then this morning.. i woke up with a really, really bad headache.. and boy .. was i feeling lousy..!! i didn’t think i was able to go into the store.. at all today.. but i took a shower.. and took some tylenol.. and came into the store.

I do feel alot better now though.. i took more medication after coming into work and my throat donch hurt so much. I just wished PB would get me some ice.. to crunch on.. and not look disgusted when i am doing it. Sometimes.. i wished i can stay home.. just because i wanna crunch my ice.. because my throat just is a bitch to take care of.. and crunching ice .. keeps my sore throat at bay.

Sorry to disappoint

Sorry to disappoint .. but i was told this afternoon .. by the immigration doctor .. that i donch have TB..!! muahhahahhahahaha!!

Yup.. it was a real relieved eh..! and thank you all for your prayers.. and good wishes.

All my papers are in order.. and it looks like i’m all set for immigration.. just waiting now. Everything seems cleared.. well except for my damn fibroids.. but we won’t tell anyone eh..! Yup.. this time…round.. they compared my chest x-ray with those taken in 2005 and then a month ago.. in Halifax.. and now .. the ones taken here in Yarmouth. Yup.. i’m in the clear..! can’t be happier.. i tell ya..!!

Good health is so important..!! now i can gorged myself.. with more chinese food.. muahahhahaha!! and reward myself…. 😉
